Story: 9/10 – Excellent
Clannad: After Story is the second half of the Clannad series. If you haven’t seen the first review posted earlier today I suggest you see that first:

Clannad: After Story starts right after the season of Clannad. This season is all about the gang graduating and entering the real world. They have their own dreams to follow which causes them to part ways chasing after their own ambitions. Without wanting to spoil anything Clannad: After Story will particularly develop Tomoya and will give you the feels you did not want to feel. After it plays around with your emotions it will suddenly use its Supernatural genre to make it a happy ending.
Theme: 9/10 – Excellent
The theme is still Family but it was presented in a heavier way. Every family has its own problems, Clannad presented it in a really nice way.
Characters: 8/10 – Great
The characters grow more mature, the character development in this season is good as well.
Visuals: 7/10 – Above Average
For some reason I feel like the visuals improved, well since it is season 2 it shouldn’t be a surprise.
Music: 9/10 – Excellent
After watching Clannad and Clannad: After Story give it 1 month then listen to the opening song of Clannad: After Story. You will understand what this 10 means.
Pacing: 10/10 – Perfection
I cried and almost cried in parts of Clannad: After Story. The build up for each scene was great.
Ending: 8/10 – Great
I didn’t give the ending a 10 because I hate how After Story was given a happy ending. For some people, they are happy about it but not me. It was a good ending nonetheless.
Overall Enjoyment: 9/10 – Excellent
The feels are worth it. That is all I can say for Clannad: After Story. I enjoyed it much more than the first season.
Score: 8.6/10 – Great
Clannad: After Story makes the whole Clannad Series beautiful. I suggest you watch it as soon as you can because as time goes by graphics get better. There may come a time when you won’t appreciate the graphics anymore. Overall, Clannad: After Story is an emotional roller coaster worth riding, If you find yourself crying do not be surprised.
